Google Ads audit

If you’re here, you probably already have a Google Ads account but aren’t happy with what it’s delivering. Maybe you’re spending too much, getting too little, or both. If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

My Google Ads audit service takes a close look at your campaigns to find what’s holding them back and where you can improve. I review the technical setup and the bigger picture — everything that affects performance and cost.

What I check during the audit:

  • account structure, keywords, and negative keywords
  • campaign settings and bidding strategies
  • ad copy and ad assets
  • conversion tracking

I don’t only focus on what’s inside Google Ads. I also look at your website, search demand in your market, and what your competitors are doing — so the recommendations are grounded in reality and aimed at actual improvements.

When a Google Ads audit makes sense

An audit is worth doing if:

  • your campaigns are running but not delivering the results you expected
  • you’re scaling up and want to make sure your campaign setup is solid
  • performance dropped recently and you’re not sure why
  • you want an independent second opinion on your current setup

After the audit, you’ll know exactly what’s working, what’s not, and what to fix.

Important: The audit service doesn’t include implementation. You can apply the recommendations yourself, or hire me to do it — in which case the audit cost goes toward future optimization or management work.

Who it is for

This audit is ideal for businesses running their own ads. Typically, these are small to mid-sized companies where someone in-house manages campaigns and gets decent results but knows there’s room to improve. Often, it’s the small details that get overlooked — and that’s where the biggest gains hide.

It’s also helpful if you’re already working with an agency or freelancer but want a second set of eyes. An independent review gives you clarity and confirms whether everything’s set up correctly.

FAQ

What access do you need?

To run the audit, I need read-only access to your Google Ads account.

If you want me to check your tracking setup, I’ll also need read-only access to Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. In some cases, I may request access to your CRM or lead management system to verify that conversion tracking works end-to-end.

What do I get after the audit?

You’ll receive a link to a Google Sheets document with the complete audit results, including my assessment and specific recommendations for each area reviewed. We’ll then have a Q&A session where I walk you through the findings in detail and answer all your questions.
